Elad Malka | Biography

Born 1980 in Tel Aviv.
Lives and works in Tel Aviv.

Malka's body of works consists of portraits, which reflect the culture and way of life of his subjects.

During his lifetime Malka photographed and documented the life of different communities around the world and recently completed two large-scale documentary projects with the Eritrean community in south Tel Aviv and street derelicts in the city's central station. In recent years, Malka photographed the children of refugees at the Bialik-Rogozin School in Florentine neighborhood, Tel Aviv.

Malka's works have been published in Ma'ariv newspaper, Globes, Tel Aviv News and the Jerusalem Post, as well as in leading Israeli websites.

In 2015, Elad won first place in the Religion and Faith category in the Local Testimony photography contest.
